Twelve Days of Christmas

Last weekend my husband and I took a we days to get away and relax. A very kind friend gave us some points from her "timeshare" ( for lack of a better characterization) and we got away to historic Williamsburg, Virginia. Although the drive down was a headache in I95, we arrived safe and sound on Friday. Tragically, it was the same day that the Connecticut shootings occurred. But we still managed to enjoy ourselves on Saturday as we explored the historic areas and did a little shopping.

One of the highlights of our day was a street performance by a "gang" of young college aged men who were trying to earn a few dollars for themselves, something I do not begrudge them in the least. So here is the video of one of their songs. It is one of those songs which normally causes people to cringe when they hear it announced. Indeed, a program on the TV tonight called it the Christmas version of "21 bottles of beer on the wall." Yes, it is "The Twelve Days of Christmas," but in a style you have never heard before. Enjoy.

Quack!
