The "R-word"

I am a racist. Yes, I have been dubbed as a racist by numerous bleeding-heart know-nothing liberals who have no argument to make other than to come out with the race-card. It is no secret that over the last four years liberal politicians and their thug cronies have labelled anyone who threatens their ideology as a racist.

I am reminded of an old song from the 1970s: "Mama, Weer All Crazee Racists Now." Okay, I added "racist" into the title. But that's because every time you turn around the libs are hollering "Racist!" "Racist!" "Racist!" According to liberal reasoning, the group Slade, who sang the original song, was racist. They had four WHITE British guys in their band, so obviously they were racist -- not a person of color nor an Hispanic person nor a woman . . .  wait! They are SEXIST too!

Here is just a small sampling of some of the people who have been branded as racists.
Several months back when professional basketball player Jeremy Lin was making headlines for his extraordinary play, Northwestern director of football operations Cody Cedja tweeted "There's finally a NBA player who plays hard and says the right things off the court." For this he was labeled a racist. What? Lin is of Asian ancestry. Are there not white players in the NBA? Would not the implied insult that Cedja was making apply to ALL races? How can a comment about ONE man's abilities be racist?

And the 2012 Olympic games, which kicked off on July 27, are not immune from the malignancy of being branded a racist. One Greek athlete never got to participate because she was accused of being racist for a Tweet she made.  What did she say that was so bad? Here is the career-ending Tweet: With so many Africans in Greece… At least the West Nile mosquitoes will eat home made food!!!  Papachristou, the female athlete who made the tweet BEFORE the Olympics, was not even allowed to go to London to compete.

Now, I don't know about you, but I think it is a stretch to call this tweet racist. If there had been a plethora of agkistrodon piscivorus (Greek for cottonmouth snake) invading Greece, which snakes are indigenous to the southeastern U.S., and Ms. Papachristou had said that American tourists would be a home made meal for them, would that be racist?

It seems to me that the people who kicked her off the team are the racists since there are white people and Indian people in Africa as well as black people. So the authorities are racist for presuming she had racist ill-intent in mind when she made her comment. West Nile mosquitoes come from Africa, People! What is racist about a comment that African mosquitoes would get an African meal because of the presence of African citizens in Greece? I think my exploding-head syndrome is returning.
The true reason for the dismissal is because Ms. Papachristou has made no secret of her support for the conservative party in her country. That's why the liberals in authority attributed ill-intent and booted her from the team. It appears the birthplace of democracy has become a bastion of political-correctness and intolerance.

And speaking of the Olympics, even NBC has been labeled as a racist organization. Yes, the liberal mainstream media organization that has a stranglehold on the Olympic broadcasts stepped in it big time earlier this week. Right after African-American gymnast Gabby Douglas won the all-around gold medal, NBC aired a commercial showing a monkey dressed as an Olympic gymnast.

NBC apologized for the "monkey promo," and sought forgiveness for the ill-timed commercial. Now, I am not an NBC fan by any means, and I rarely watch the channel (Biggest Loser and Olympics being the only exceptions). But I will come to their defense here. If we have to apologize for every coincidental happenstance that occurs, then we have lost the freedom of speech that we hold so dear. I suspect Gabby Douglas could have cared less about the commercial, which had aired prior to that instance on several occasions. Besides that, the monkey was dressed as a male gymnast. Maybe its John Orozco who should be offended.

Even simple medical malpractice claims can be turned into racist rants. What the heck does the color of the nurse's skin have to do with her abilities as a nurse? When a patient complained about the way she was (mal)treated in a hospital, she was branded a racist because she was white and the nurse was black. "I was called a racist for complaining about a lady getting scalded, and because no one was able to fix my morphine over the whole weekend. It was a horrific experience," said the racist white patient. Ahhh, the Brits are not immune from the racism pandemic either. Seems once again the one who cries racist is the racist: by attributing the racist label to the white patient insinuates that the black nurse is not as competent as her white counterparts, and that for the white patient to suggest that the black nurse be held to the same standards as a white nurse makes the white patient a racist. Makes perfect sense to me!

Politicians sling the racist label around as the new cure-all for their lack of originality and logical thinking. One example comes from my state of residence, Virgiia. "Louise Lucas (D-Portsmouth), a campaign surrogate for President Obama, said that presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney is 'speaking to a segment of the population who does not like to see people other than a white man in the White House or any other elected position." Ms. Lucas, who is from Virginia, labels the entire Romney campaign as racist.

Other liberal politicians are slinging the racist-mud also. Where there's controversy, there's Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas. She accused the House of Representatives, of which she is a member, of being racist for holding Eric Holder in contempt of Congress over the Fast and Furious debacle. Never mind the fact that a U.S. border agent was gunned down by the very guns that Holder and Obama allowed to be sent into Mexico, for their own political motives. If you accuse Holder of a crime, you are racist, regardless of how guilty he is and regardless of the fact that you are a member of the group you are calling racist. Makes NO sense to me!

Then we can always count on hat-wearing Frederica Wilson of Florida for a racist fling-fest. Who can forget Ms. Wilson's pink-hatted rant about the death of Trayvon Martin, wherein she appoints herself to be judge, jury and executioner.

To Ms. Wilson's credit, she also flings the "sexist" label around when it suits her own personal desires.  (I wonder if she knows the band Slade.) In her case, it's her desire to wear her idiotic hats on the floor of Congress that results in her claim that Congressional forefathers were sexist.

BOOM! That was my head exploding. The only person worth listening to in that piece was the long-haired hippy guy toward the end.

There are hundreds of other examples I could use to illustrate the pervasive tendency of liberals to cry "Racist!" But I want to leave you with the Queen of the Racist Flingfest. It's none other than Janeane Garlofolofelo. In this first clip, if you can stomach it, she teams up with has-been Keith Olderman to call a black man, Herman Cain, a racist.

And who can forget Garomolopilo's hate-filled rantings, again in the company of her significant other, Keith Olderman, on his now-defunct MSNBC TV show a few years ago. I will spare you the posting of the video here, but you can read the transcript and, if you are a true glutton for punishment, see the video of Gar-awful-old stating with utter contempt that tea party adherents are  "a bunch of teabagging rednecks," and adding "this is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up."

I cannot fathom how one small woman can be filled with such utter vileness and contempt for her fellow white man. Since my head already exploded BEFORE I got to Ms. Garofalo, I can only say that I will now bow what's left of the limbic portion of my brain in prayer for her and her fellow race-baiting brethren. Dear God, please give them something else to accuse us of! I'm tired of being a racist. Amen.

[UPDATED 8-10-12] If you want to see a racist ad, check out this one that the Florida Democrats have produced against good and honorable Congressman Allen West. Talk about racism -- the ad perpetuates the stereotype that black men beat up women, in this case white women. There is the granny being beaten up by a black man, then the Debbie-Wasserman-Schultz-clone being beaten up by the black man.

Sure they throw in a black family at the end to deflect claims of racism, but we all know what that means, right?

More prayers being lifted up.

  1. I am coming to believe that the people that cry racism all of the time are themselves the racists. When I heard about that NBC apology, the first thing I thought is that I would NEVER have put the monkey commercial together with Gabby winning the Gold. It takes a good racist stretch to come up with the idea at all. Racism is a harsh word, an important word. They are using it for everything, every instance when things don't go their way. Pretty soon they will cry racist, and everyone will just roll their eyes. Kind of like the boy who cried wolf. No one paid attention anymore, and he got eaten.
