Good heavens. I know that boycotts are a tactic that factions of all political persuasions have used at some time or another in their history. But it can get really old really fast.
A few years ago some leftist group told everyone to boycott Whole Foods for some socialist-based reason that escapes my memory. (Oh yeah, it was because the CEO wrote an op-ed piece for the Wall Street Journal pointing out that Obamacare stinks and offering other alternatives.) So, on the way home that day, I stopped and bought groceries at Whole Foods. I never would have shopped there but for the lefties' call for a boycott.
So, who is the left boycotting now? Walmart and Coca Cola. I won't even bother to try to understand how they connect these business to voter ID laws. My mind does not work that way. Instead, I will be going to Walmart to get Diet Coke while I am off for Easter Triduum the next three days.
And while I am there, I will pick up some chocolate Easter bunnies to help me celebrate my Savior's Resurrection on Sunday.
